On May 16, 2015 I ordered a replacement battery. I had received that new battery. I installed it and reconnected it. And now on, 8/15/2018, it has started beeping again. Three+ years later. So it seems like a good replacement battery to me. And so I have ordered a new battery. See you again in three years…

The fact that I could find a replacement battery at half the cost of a new battery back-up unit was tremendous to a budget that was already streched! Thanks.

It was the wrong battery. The nice thing is the manufacturer let me keep it. But I have no use for it.

Well, the Mighty Max Battery did immediately stop the beeping of my APC Back-UPS ES 350/500, after arriving on time & well packed. Only time will tell whether it lasts as long as the 6 yrs. of the original (a CSB) or the near 8 yrs. of its replacement (an Arizona). I’ve only just put it in today, 5/31/15, after the APC resumed its beeping & would not again shut up simply by turning it off/on. That simple maneuver worked twice over a two week period. I was dismayed at first to see the terminal connectors of the Mighty Max were considerably narrower than on the previous two batteries. However, the beeping has stopped, & I happily do begin a seven or so year wait, or so I hope.Update: 6/1/15… This next day, the beeping began again with the replace battery light lit in red. I then taped the connections to keep things tight, but that lasted only a matter of hours to silence it. So, at ‘s product return page, I chose to contact the seller (Mighty Max Battery) by e-mail (which will manage, spoofing my E-mail address) with the complaint, instead of immediately returning it to . I did so because Mighty Max is just two boroughs away from me by the address on the package. I will keep all informed.Update: 6/2/15… Mighty Max Battery answered my e-mail & offered to send terminal adaptors free of charge. I accepted, & will keep all informed. Looks good so far; I expect a satisfactory outcome.Update: 6/10/15… The Mighty Max battery terminal adapters arrived today (late because of a snafu at USPS). They fit well onto the battery & the Back-UPS connectors audibly snapped tightly over them. I was very pleased. However, the beeping continued even after letting the unit charge the battery for 8+ hours. I’ve e-mailed Mighty Max to that effect & await a response, which Elizabeth is always quick to do. (I should add, these adapters are thin. For 20+ mins. I thought they mailed just a label. For another 6 mins., I thought it was just one adapter in there. But once discovered they are stellar in what they do – fitting tightly over the battery terminals & the APC wires snap tightly onto them!)Update: 6/12/15… Mighty Max Battery offered to send another battery yesterday with no need to return the first, & I happily accepted. Today, I can track it at USPS. They would also have given a refund on return. I remain overjoyed & impressed at Mighty Max’s attentiveness to the problem. I hope everyone who ever has such an issue gets Elizabeth to deal with.Update: 6/13/15… Today the new battery arrived, & all is quiet again with the battery inserted & the APC Back-UPS switched on & running my Verizon phone & internet router. (It used to run my Compaq 7470, but this Dell Inspiron i5 3542 has its own battery.) It’s been quiet for 3 hours now. The new Mighty Max battery seems to be an updated version of its predecessor. It is the same model (ML5-12) with the same specs (12 Volt 5 Amp Hr.), but the wording do not charge in sealed container (which sounded odd since it goes inside the Back-UPS) has been removed from the face of the battery. There are other wording differences, & the battery icon on it is colored in blue, not black. It still needed the adaptors which I transferred from the other. So, I am very pleased all around once again – with the battery & with the customer service. I feel confident this will be my last update to this review for 7+ years! And thank you Elizabeth for your kind & effective service.

So far these batteries fit great and work great. Much, much cheaper (~50%) than buying replacement batteries from the original manufacturer, APC.

Arrived in good condition and on time. Was easy to install in my old UPS which is about 12 years old. The old one has been dead for 2 or 3 years. After installing, I plugged it in for a few days (Just did not get around to it and went on vacation for 14 days also). Plugged in my PC and Monitor and then turned them on. Then unplugged the UPS from the wall and both units kept on working and did not blink. Seems to work ok. Obviously, I won’t know if it will last any amount of time for a while. I am hoping for 2 years as the original lasted for nearly 10 years.

It fit, it works, and now I have an operational UPS. I don’t think there is anything more to say,…
