Bought this battery as a replacement to an ailing and failed original battery in my Cyberpower 685AVR. The new battery was the exact same size as the old. But the terminal blades on the new battery were a little thinner and narrower than the original battery. I had to narrow and close up the female crimp connector from the backup device… and as some may know that can be a delicate adjustment to insure a good final connection. Overall the replacement took about 15 minutes instead of 5… but I’m pleased to report I’m back in business. Replacing the battery is a lot cheaper than buying a complete new unit.

Most importantly, the given measurements were accurate and the install was simple. As for battery life, only time will tell, but the last battery was good for about three years.

I was about to buy the CP official battery, but saw the reviews on this 3rd party one. Everything is made easy by the included instructions. These batteries will be dead in 3-4 years, no reason to buy a premium OEM when it wasn’t that impressive of battery life. I will report back if the life is any different, but the chemistry is the same, so wouldn’t make sense if it didn’t last as long.

The battery arrived with the plastic safety covers not on the terminals but rather rattling in the box. Not the biggest deal, but at the same time could have become an issue if something were to short them out.It was fairly fast to swap in as a replacement to a UPS. Will update if there are any further issues.
