Why throw out your UPS when you can just upgrade the battery? This unit was competitively priced and it was relatively easy to install. Just be careful with keeping the clips on the posts when you slide the battery back into the unit. I did not find it as hard as others have claimed in their reviews. If you want a perfect install pay 2x the price of this battery and buy a genuine APC unit. In my opinion you would just be wasting your money.

Easy drop in replacement battery for my APC Pro 700. As others have mentioned, the electrical terminals on the battery are slightly thinner, but I simply compressed the UPC connectors to insure a tight connection.

Purchased this as a replacement for my APC BR700G UPS system after it stopped working properly and was flashing low battery all the time. It shipped quickly and in under two minutes, I was able to swap out the old battery for this new one, and get my UPS back up and running. Time will tell on the durability, but since the original battery from APC only lasted three years, I don’t believe that the genuine APC batteries are vastly superior. This was about half the cost of the APC battery which is great. The only reason for docking a star is that the battery tabs are too small to attach securing and are flimsier (one bent during installation). It’s not going to get moved around a lot, so I think it will be fine, but they should really revise the design to make the tabs the right size. It should be one easy change and I’d be willing to pay a couple bucks more if the tabs were better.

Just as described. I popped this battery into my UPS and I knew about the one clip being too small from the reviews, which didn’t bother me as I just crimped it down with some pliers. Now I have peace of mind again as the hole swap took about 5 min. I hope the battery lasts a while.

Awesome battery at an awesome price! The tabs are smaller than the APC ones this replaced. But I don’t want to pay 50% more to buy an APC. The clips hold the tabs on the battery well enough to be installed. Once installed, it should be fine unless you’re APC is going to be going to a warzone or something it shouldn’t be all bounced around inside.Battery fit snug going in and overall everything fit and worked great! I will see if Mighty Max sells a battery for this one off UPS I have that needs a battery replacement.

Got this to put in an APC Pro 700 UPS and the fit was perfect. No splicing/soldering and I was up and running within minutes. All you do is hook up the positive and negative to the battery, insert the battery in the slot, close the slot, and power it on. The unit shows the battery as being at full charge, which is great because there’s no telling how long it has been in a warehouse. So for less than $15, I’m able to bring new life to a dying UPS.

Another reviewer mentioned the tabs on the battery being the wrong size. Like him, I was able to modify the female spade clips and get a decent grip, but in my view, this is a major flaw, as a lot of folks aren’t going to want or desire to make this modification, and since the leads are so short, it is rather difficult to get the fit just right so they are secure.Also, I see the APC brand RBC-17 here on for only about $7 more than the cost of this version. For some, this might be worth the seven bucks, but for most, I would recommend the one that actually has the correct tabs, and I would have done that myself, thinking of next time I have to replace the battery, now the spade clips are crimped down to kind of fit this one.Otherwise, the battery seems fine, had about a 50% charge and pretty quickly charged up to 100%.

So cheap compared to the APC brand replacement battery for my ES-750. I took a gamble and I’m glad I did. The only issue (which isn’t a big deal) are the tabs on the battery (battery leads). They are a tad bit smaller than on the original APC battery (see picture). When I installed the new battery I noticed that they slipped off the clips fairly easily. To solve this, I ended up tightening the connection by crimping down the clips using needle nose pliers. That did the trick.So far the green light is staying solid green. I will update the review if something changes. Otherwise, I saved about 30 bucks over the name brand battery.
