Plastic housing of the battery was hit hard enough to get dented ~1.5mm deep and ~5mm long on one edge. Installed and worked fine, but still disappointing to receive something new that is banged up. There was styrofoam and plastic covers protecting the terminals, so they were fine; but the outer cardboard box didn’t protect the inner cardboard box at all, and there certainly wasn’t any crush room for the actual battery, beyond the protection of two single wall corrugated cardboard layers. 🙁

The product description states this battery will fit an APC model BE750BB UPS. I did not find this to be true. I had to shave down the plastic fins using a single-edge razor in the battery holding area (like several other reviewers here) to make it fit (see fitted battery pic attached). Here is an 8AH battery I’ve used before that is smaller and fits no problem without modifying the APC battery box… https://www. .com/dp/B00BSEJWCO/ref=psdc_389574011_t1_B00YCLME48

I had to force the battery into my older APC Back-UPS ES 750 (BE750BB), bending the plastic guides on the way in. The previous replacement battery (BP Werker brand) had to be forced in by the rep at the battery store and took some effort on my part to remove, so I assumed that this was normal. However, once this battery had been knocked in all the way, I found that the cover would not fit back on the UPS. I am currently using the UPS with no cover and will do so until the battery expires. At that point, I will have to disassemble the unit to extract the battery. It is a problem I will address several years from now, as the battery itself works perfectly. It’s a mildly disappointing situation, but the price was right.

I’ve always had good luck in buying batteries from this company, and I will continue to do so. Good batteries at a great price!
Nootsie –
Good price, easy to install, works perfectly.
Logistics Guy –
Have never had an issue with the quality of service life of this line of replacements.
Damnameneus –
Does not fit in APC 750. The battery seems to work fine, but it is too large for the APC 750.
Gee Jonez –
Well made battery.
Customer –
Great battery, would purchase again. Had to shave a bit of plastic on an older UPS to get to fit as it was just a hair too big. The use of a flat head and hammer quickly removed the excess ribs allowing this battery to fit.
sid –
working great thru a few power outages
E Engr –
I had to grind down the bottom ridges to get the battery in. The battery worked.

I purchased this battery from Mighty Max to replace the original APC BE750BB battery. Like with other reviewers, the battery Might Max sent was about 15 mils too large for the case. I wrote a negative review based on the advertised claim that the replacement should fit my unit. HOWEVER, Mighty Max read my review and actively sought me out to address the situation. They gave me a full refund. Any vendor that will offer that type of customer service and make purchasing their product truly risk-free deserves a positive review. As for the battery, Might Max could not help because of the proprietary nature of APC products. I am switching to CyberPower and away from APC. CyberPower units appear to work well and cost much less, whether the battery can be replaced or not.

Good price and availability. Will evaluate again later for life-cycle of this brand. I do not use periodic self tests, do use APCUPSD and Windows 10 UPS monitoring to shut down before 50% level and restore power to devices at 90%. Generator provides eventual backup on power fails.
PixelMuse –
Works perfectly. I had to trim some plastic ribbing from the backup unit housing to make this battery fit correctly. The size is off by about 1/16 on the width.
eugef –
Works as expected. Fit is OK
William Naccarato –
This replacement works fine. This only issue I had was that the cover for the battery compartment did not close completely. I’m not sure what the problem is because the battery is the same size as the one I replaced. In any case it’s working
JD –
My CyberPower APS started beeping and then gave up the ghost. Quick research on the net taught me replacing the battery is all that was needed instead of buying an entirely new APS.Mighty Max replacement has been installed over 6 months, 2 different APSs, work great – direct replacement and I’m good for about 3-4 years before lather rinse repeat.
Jon H –
Fits perfectly in the APC BE750BB Backup UPS. No issues
Rainwater –
Fit my BE750BB without any issues. I actually had more trouble removing the old battery than installing the new battery!
RPV Lee –
I had some reservations about purchasing this battery initially, since the listed dimensions didn’t exactly match the original one in my APC uninterruptable power supply (an older model BE750BB).It took me 15 minutes to coax the old one out because the fit was tight, plus the battery case had swollen. The Mighty Max dropped right in with a small amount of clearance. I charged it overnight, and by morning the UPS was back in business.I’m very pleased with the fit, performance, and value of this Mighty Max battery. Processing, packaging, and shipping were all as expected from an vendor. As a side note, I peeled the APC sticker off their OEM battery and found a BB Battery (made in China). Apparently that value-added sticker justifies charging twice as much for the battery.I say pocket the difference and give your old APC UPS a new lease on life with this battery.
Maltesefalcon –
Works and fits just fine.

Great battery at a great price. Completely satisfied, excellent customer service

Works perfectly, great price!

I got a lovely wake up call from my UPS’ alarm at 5 am. Gotta love when the batteries die on these things… Needless to say, I immediately yanked the battery and started researching my options later. I was in need of a replacement quickly since my UPS is the main hub for my computer, printer, etc. The reviews and price point caught my eye with the Mighty Max Battery. Decided to give it a go and was not disappointed. I’m not sure why people are claiming this needed to be shaved down. It fit perfectly in my UPS. Note that the battery may come completely discharged and just needs some time to recharge.I contacted customer service in regard to the discharge because between that and a little difficulty with the connectors that I was having (they were quick and courteous in their response), I wasn’t sure what was what. But sure enough, after a few hours of charging, the LED came on and all is good. This is definitely a better alternative than the branded APC battery that goes for almost twice as much plus shipping.
Les –
fits in the UPS perfectly. Been running for a couple weeks with no issues so far
K Davis –
It is a tight fit, but it does and so far works properly.
Gary2 –
The battery was one of the easier ones I have fitted to a backup. I have probably changed out about 6 over the years. It was a very tight fit, but did go in place without any modifications! It was pretty well charged up, so was able to run straight out of the box. Only time will tell, as to how long it will last, but so far – so good!
Customer –
Nice battery, well packaged. VERY tight fit in the Back-UPS, but it did fit with difficulty.
Martin Gollery –
Tight fit, but works well.
Forrest –
I have an APC BE750BB and this battery fits and works perfect.
proof –
I get a charge out of these batteries. A+
Al –
Good battery, yields some solid 48 minutes for my iMac
RichS –
Battery life is unknown due to limited time of use. It needs to be a little smaller in size to fit the APC unit. Hope I can get it back out again if I need to replace battery again.
G. Lamaina –
Squeezed right into my ES 750 and powered up. Working great so far. It was tight but I got it in. Lost a star for the tightness.
KRK –
Good fit, flawless compatibility, and it has come through a variety of power failures due to thunderstorms without a hitch. I now have two UPS’s with different Mighty Max batteries. No complaints about either one.
Thomas P. Lloyd –
As advertised. Installed easily
Anne C –
it s good as my battery needed to replace.
carsound22961 –
Working great. No issues to date.
C Shorter –
The advertised dimensions are a bit off. It is not the same size at the battery requited for the BE750BB. I needed to shave the 4 plastic spacers in the battery compartment. After getting the battery in, it is very hard to remove it. Also the cover will fit, but it takes a lot of effort to depress the retaining tabs to slide the door.
MX21 –
Slightly larger than the stock battery that came with the APC UPS, but managed to get it installed.
Joey M –
Works as described, no issues.
Samuel Clemens –
Performed as advertised. Was delivered quickly with no damage and fit the replacement space snugly.
Jordan Leidner –
Too big for the battery well on the supposedly matching UPS, but can at least be connected. Note plastic guide ribs on my UPS had to be removed to fit a previous battery.
Bill –
Fit and working as advertised. Thanks.
Greg D. –
Perfect fit for my APC 750A. Installation is a snap. let it charge overnight then tested and it passed with flying colors. Will buy again as needed.
scott –
This larger battery did not originally fit my APC-750. Instead, I needed the 12 8Ah model sold by Mighty Max. However, when I contacted Mighty Max, their incredible customer service responded very quickly and explained they would replace my too-large battery with the correct size– free of charge. I was amazed. They went above and beyond to make me as a customer happy. I would highly recommend whatever they sell by virtue of their customer service alone.
Tim T. –
Perfect fit, charged right up. Worked as described, in service about a month so far. Hope it stays in service like the original battery did, 6 years.
Richard S. –
Battery was a little oversized for the APC ES 750 case. Had to really jam it in, so I could close the cover. Will not be able to get it out.
D. Moens –
Perfect drop in replacement for the listed model. No tweaking or shaving down was required to make it fit. It just slid right in.
JusThinkin –
Listen to the reviews that state that this battery does not fit. You will be able to make it work however you will not be able to replace the cover. The battery will be exposed however I don’t really care about that.
J. Lash –
Excellent. Great customer support.
browcat –
bought this to go into an old PC Back-UPS ES 750VA Broadband BE750BB i bought in a yard sale for one dollar, it was a perfect fit, i did not have to make any adjustment , the original battery was a tight fit…this one took its place just fine.
Rojo –
This battery fit my ES750 (BE750BB) without a problem; no fin/rib shaving required. The APC model I have, I believe, is the older/original model than what others with fitment issues may be using. So in case anyone else is worried about compatibility, I’ve attached unbelievably exciting pictures of the particular model I have and this battery in action.Sitting side-by-side, this one appeared that it might be even a fraction of a millimeter shorter than the original battery, and it slid in even easier. In either case, the old UPS was back up and running immediately.
More enlightened consumer –
Good replacement battery for my APC UPS. You have to be prepared to shave away some plastic ribs inside; blame APC and not the battery makers. It appears they mistakenly made a too-tight fit for a competing product that was ultimately thinner than the true spec by 1-2 mm and then forgot that; their own recommendations for a replacement also require this minor modification. Fortunely, these little ribs are not very wide and strong, so you just shave them off easily with a single-edge razor-blade paint scraper you can get in any hardware store. [That they tweaked the exact size with only these little ribs tells me that someone knew better but went along with the unusual-size to be a standard rather than the reality that the size of Might Max is the true size that should have been made to fit. Thus, if you have oe of the affected models, you have to make the modification anyway; some are foolishly recommended a drastically lower capacity battery just because then that fits sloppily without the change; that’s even more wrong than just removing the ribs in 3 minutes.

Great deal!

Battery worked fine but initially did not fit in UPS. This was noted by other buyers. Had to file off plastic fins in UPS box to make fit.
Tony Romagnoli –
Sanjay S. –
Easy to replace old battery.
Andrew Feldman –
There is one issue with this battery: it is about 1-2mm thicker than the compartment in my UPS unit. Fortunately, the opening has thin ridges on one of the sides; those are easy to cut off with a box cutter / razor blade and further file down. That widens the space sufficiently for the battery to slide in.A word of advice: file off those ridges completely before attempting to push the battery inside. Otherwise it will get stuck without going in all the way — and good luck pulling it out, with no handles or edges to hold on to…Other than that, the battery is absolutely perfect.

Brought my APC Back-UPS ES 750VA back to life. Much more economical alternative to the OEM product. Had a bit of trouble fitting it into the case. I had to use a bit more than elbow grease to get it installed. I doubt I’ll be able to get it out in a few years (hopefully it will last that long) without some serious ingenuity. Overall, I’m satisfied for the savings alone.
Legend Lin –
replaced with the old battery and the UPS is working fine now. hopefully it will last.
timekills –
Did not fit in APC UPS and allow the case to be closed, but if you don’t mind not attaching the plastic cover on most APC UPS, then it works very well.Update: Two good updates1) Battery life/power is great. Better than OEM (possibly due to be slightly larger battery size.)2) Mighty Max returned a significant portion of the purchase price for size issue after I contacted them. Great service!
M Francis –
Good packaging for a heavy item like this. Works great!
Steven S Yan –
FIts perfectly into my APC unit.

fits perfectly…..

Fit like a glove.
