I made a mistake on testing the 2 100 ah batteries. My test for these batteries was wrong. These are good batteries and are still working good. I apologize to mighty max for the first bad review.

This is my second one. They work awesomely together. They have been less than 50% a number of times but keep on clicking!

I power my camper with 2 of these batteries and they run all my equipment. I keep them charged with my 100 watts of sola panels.

I bought 5 if these batteries 6 months ago for a solar system. They no longer hold a charge. They were ran in parallel so I’m sure that maybe there was one bad apple that may have killed the bunch. The seller was very willing to replace under warranty which was great. However you have to pay for shipping to return. It would cost $500+ dollars to ship 5 of these super heavy batteries back for exchange. Which is more than half of what I paid for them. So just beware before you make the commitment as the process of EVERYTHING continues to increase. For $1500 ($1000 for initial purchase + $500 to get batteries that work) I could have purchased a couple of better quality lithium batteries.

I have 4 of these batteries in a 24 volt 200 amp hour configuration. I charge them with 6 100 watt solar panels and have had no problems. They have been running my radio room (the ham shack) for over a year now. They run my lights, weather station, 3 BF-F8HP’s, my IC-7300, my IC-2730A my MFJ Versa Tuner V my MFJ SWR/Watt Meter, my MFJ 25 Amp Switching Power Supply, a Space Heater and my Computer with 2 Monitors. I only plug My AL-811H Amplifier into the wall for obvious reasons. They charge plenty on cloudy days to keep me going and fully charge on sunny days. I’m very Happy with them.

I’ve used this battery in the past and was happy with it’s dependability. I currently use this in a converted van with solar panels. I have never run out of power.

Just bought, The battery was packaged well and was in good shape when it got here. It was as expected and has performed to this date well. The batteries only two weeks old only time will tail.
Bryon Hush –
Bought 2 and they performed to specifications, have a low voltage disconnect set to turn off load at 35% and calculating Amp/Hours and at low voltage disconnect I did get 65 Amp/Hours (Ah) of use. To ensure battery longevity you should only discharge down as low as 11.8 volts (35%) and battery should last for a long time. I have another brand of battery made by Alpha Cell, model GEL 210 GXL that have a date code from 2007 and they are still in service with 85% capacity when tested recently. The battery will last as long as you treat it. Not using a low voltage disconnect on any deep-cycle battery will shorten the life dramatically if battery is discharged below 35% (11.8v) – So the low star reviews that claim the battery does not perform well likely have ran the battery below 35% frequently. Hoping this 3rd battery I just ordered is as good as the first 2 Mighty Max 100Ah batteries I have had in service.

Using it on my solar. Works great

I spent months trying to find good, affordable batteries to replace my 1985 golf cart’s 6 volt batteries. The cart operates on 36 volts, so I needed three 12 volt batteries. All of the Lithium batteries were too expensive, so I started looking at Gel Cell batteries, which were much closer to my price range. I’ve had the Mighty Max batteries in my golf cart for 2 weeks and it has never performed better.

I bought this battery to replace one that was going bad. I have a 12-volt 68-watt solar panel that is used to charge/re-charge the battery every day. I use it to power my LED lighting system in my house. The load is not excessive, and this battery fits the need just fine. One note – since it is an AGM SLA, I needed to also change the charge-controller to be able to use the proper charge-profile for an AGM battery which has a higher 100% charge voltage.

Took a chance on these for our Ryobi electric Mower since the OEM Leoch batteries are never in stock. Went from 75Ah to 100Ah and these work like a charm! You have to adjust battery tray spacer for increased width but they run the mower perfectly. No insight into longevity (yet). ????????

People don’t understand why there battery’s don’t hold up? Yahoo 1200 w storage but it’s lead base battery. You only want use 20% of the capability or you start to damage your cells…… soon 225w of usable energy. Best to get lithium lifep04 as you can use 80%(900w for 12v 100ah ) of capability before damaging cells plus 8 times faster charge and 10 times more life cycles

I really can’t say too much other than it was packaged well for delivery. It’s new, and it works. I have 2 of these wired in parallel with 2 Windy Nation batteries, so 4 batteries in parallel connected to 500 watts of solar panels running my 3 aquariums during sunny days. I have only rated this at for 3 stars due to me still testing the batteries. So I can not tell you the longgevity or battery life. But can tell you so far they are holding up great. I bought a total of 8 12volt 100amh batteries. They are connected to a 4000watt inverter. The Inverter as been running 43%load at 15 minutes increments. I have this charging on a 400watt solar panels and the batteries have held a 12.7 volts for 3 days now. So when I run more testing I will update my review.Thank youBarnette Improvements

It said in the description that the battery has button connectors. That’s not what I got! Pretty much a standard lead post with holes. Comes with screws and nuts. It works for me but others it may not. The battery came with a decent charge but not fully charged. Hooked my solar controller up to the battery. I will be using it in my RV for running my propane heater and lights. I use my RV to work on guitars. So heat is essential in Michigan! See my photo’s on the battery post I received. We shall see how well this battery performs!

I purchased this battery for a disability pool lift. It powers up a 12 V actuator. I’ve only used it about a dozen and a half times so far it seems to be up to the task. I generally charge the battery after every use although it has never run low on charge.

The terminal screws are small so make sure that you have fender washers to secure your cables or just make sure that your cables have small eyes in the lugs.I used 3 of these, a 75 amp RV converter charger, an automatic transfer switch, and a pure sine wave inverter to build a 1500 watt battery backup to run my electronics during power outages. I can run a 65 inch 4k smart TV, satellite receiver, modem, router, laptop and a 420 watt soundbar for a good 8 or 10 hours depending on volume and brightness etc.

This battery has a very good price point so I’m going to try to keep that in mind for this review. Ok so this is a 100 amp hour battery. For longevity of the battery let’s call it 50ah. At 50ah hours you should be able to run 100 watts for around 5 hours this battery you can expect about 2.5. Maybe I just have a bad battery I wanted to try this one first then get another one to run in parallel but at this point I’m not sure what to do. My experience with this battery I might warn buyer beware. I’d love to hear back from mighty max and see what they say. Will probably contact them soon and update my review accordingly.

I ordered one more battery than I needed, and even though the order was about to be shipped, Mighty Max was still able to edit my order when I sent them just an email. Great customer service. The battery is a little pricey, especially when I could get a much larger AH battery for the same price, but it is well worth it. This battery has left me satisfied for almost a couple of years now, with no signs of wear and tear, or breakdown. The battery life is also another plus. It has a very long battery life. I was able to hook up 8-100 watt solar panels to a couple of nice 50 amp charge controllers, then to 3 of these Mighty Max batteries linked in parallel. From there they power a 5,000 watt modified sine wave inverter, which then runs a pretty large-sized refrigerator, a couple of computers, about 10 LED light, a medium sized AC fan, and a 52 flat screen TV. It keeps all of these powered for up to 5 days if there’s no sun. Or during larger storms/ hurricanes, It kept a small tv up and a large fridge up and running for the better part of 2 weeks (we also had 1 AC fan running and 3-3 watt LED’s running during that time, but we did turn off the lights and fan whenever we weren’t using them. Really we just left them off most of the time unless and appliance started over-heating).

We’ve had the battery in our RV for about six months, and it has been working very well with our setup. Remember as an AGM battery, you only get about 50 amp hours of usable battery. For us, that’s plenty, and we’re very happy with the battery! We like it’s low profile, which was necessary to fit into our battery compartment. So far it’s doing well and keeping us powered!

I’ve had these batteries hooked up to my mini van camper solar system for 6 months and they are performing GREAT! Take care of them and they will take care of you. The lowest I’ve had these batteries at are about 40% and they always charge back up great when given the proper amount of sunshine or an alternate power source. They basically have done all I can possibly ask of a pair of batteries. On top of that, one of my batteries were missing the screws. I wrote to mighty max and they sent me the bolts. Took awhile, but they were happy to help me out.

Knitron –
It was a great battery. Worked awesome for my tear drop trailer and it’s constant use. Rand fridge, lights, fan and water pump. With a 100W solar panel and some decent sun every couple days could go almost indefinitely. Then right after the warranty period expired the battery took a dump. It would fully charge to 13.5V, but as soon as you turned on a 12V 18W LED light it would drop almost a full Volt. I emailed customer service about it, and all they did was offer a 10% discount if I bought another one.
Nick Goldsmith –
Only had these a month or so but they seem to work well? only time will tell with longevity but for now they run my fridge, fan and lights no problem with a 200w solar system.

Eric Parsons –
I bought this for a long camping trip to power my CPAP machine.I got 6 days out of it, and it was still at 12.5 volts. AMAZING. in the past, I would barely get 4 days without the battery being drained badly.I could easily have got 8 or 9 days with no worries of damage, it cost less than a dedicated CPAP battery, which only works one night.I hope it lasts as long in years as it did while camping. If you use a CPAP, and want to go camping, this battery is all you need for a whole week as long as you check it’s charge, and stop using it when it is low.

I like the maintenance free aspect. I paid almost the same price for a deep cycle battery that had 1/3 the amp hour rating.

I bought two of these for use in my rv with an inverter and four 100watt solar panels. TEMPORARILY hooked up for testing right now. However they are working great so far. I bought one of these to use in my van for camping/road trips. Connected to a 100W Renogy solar panel on top. Worked great, easy to set up. It is heavy but I am able to lift and move it by myself and I’m nearly 60. Just bought a second one to complete my system and both are running fine. I’ve had the first one about six months. No problems.
Brennon Haag –
No mention of what size of tapped hole the terminals are anywhere in product description. Answered question from Jan 30th says its a 5/16 tapped hole. This is *NOT* correct. Tapped holes are Metric M6 x 1.00’s. Feeling a little salty about this because I had to make three trips to the hardware store, the third one carrying this battery in with me, just to find bolts for it.Battery seems well made though haven’t owned long enough to speak on its longevity. Just feeling a little leery about it if the seller can’t even enter in basic technical information in the ad.

I love the Mighty Max Battery. I bought it to drive a 2000 watt inverter to power my new Portable Davy Crockett Pellet Grill. The battery powered the inverter to drive the auger and blower fan for 13 or so hours while I smoked a Brisket. It only took 2 hours to recharge on 12.5 amps and then 30 minutes on 2 amps. Our power went out. I used it to watch tv (24 LED) and play Xbox.

This battery is very heavy but that is what makes it an performance superstar. The denser the battery the longer it performs, I ran a 32 tv and a roku on a 500w inverter the other day when the electricity was off because of a storm for about four hours and when the electricity was restored it only ran the battery down 1%. Granted the tv and roku are not a big electric load in watts I was still impressed with the performance of the battery for the money. I will be testing the battery with heavier loads in the future but for now I’m impressed with the performance for the price. I will update this review if it doesn’t meet my expectations.

These batteries are great. I would recommend buying a cheap volt meter if u have a small solar setup to watch the voltage as u use them. Do not drain them past 50% of there power..that’s down to about 12.4volts.

I can’t give a detailed review as of yet, I’ve only used one single battery of the four I’ve ordered to keep our fridge running during an extended power outage. Using a 3500/7000w MSW inverter, it powered our fridge(22.8cu ft side by side) for roughly 5.5 hrs off and on, a large BUNN coffee pot for half an hr, and couple lights, and phone chargers for a total use over 8-9 hrs. Resting voltage was still 12.1v after that, I had a good amount of use left in it.Capacity is good.I personally can not stand the terminals, but I’ve not had problems with them. Many have said they are brittle, but 4 out of my 4 have been okay. Even torquing down probably too tight, it’s holding okay, but Id use Caution.Shipping Currier(FedEx for me) was pretty poor, left on a concrete porch upside down, And boxes on 2nd n 4th boxes were damaged, but product was okay.I’ll give a better review once I have a chance to really put it to the test.

Performs as stated.

Batteries have been going strong for daily use for 4 months now. Seems to be holding charge well, excellent batteries.
Michael OConnor –
Batteries are a huge improvements over deep cycle marine batteries for off-grid solar project. These batteries hold their voltage over their entire charge range which is important during cloudy days. I have 3 of these coupled with 8 x 100w HQST panels which seems to be about the right ratio.

Good performance. Used in custom van for solar power

Nice battery, FAST shipping!

Ordered four of these to hook up to a second array of panels. The first four I ordered had better carrying handles made of heavy duty cord. The second four has cheap plastic handles that come off easily and are not adequate for carrying 60 lb batteries. One battery was chipped on the bottom corner apparently ruff handling during shipping. But it is useable just not in as good of condition as was ordered.

Works with solar power system. Arrived at 95% charge. No complaints to date.

Arrived very quickly. Nice heavy batteries. Fits and seems to work well in my powerhub 1800. Supplied terminal bolts not quite long enough to connect 2 cables to the same posts (2 batteries in parallel) and still use their supplied lock washers, but not a biggie.

good price and plenty of power. I am using this for the 12v system on my camper. enough to power lights and fans and a few other small loads for several days

Good quality and fast shipping. I run a 400w dc to ac, then 2 x 150W dedolights for filmmaking off this. The 33ah only lasts a half hour (or an hour with one 150w bulb). So i bought the 100ah and its exponential – now it runs for 6 hours! Go figure. But hoe this info helps someone scratching their head and trying to work out how many amp hours they need.

So far these batteries have been going strong for 6 months even with months of not being at full charge ( due to no sun) so I recommend these they have degraded and are working perfectly.

I haven’t used it long enough to be able to properly rate it, but so far it seems good

We have purchased 3 of these batteries (so far!) for the solar we installed on our off grid cabin. They have been great batteries for that application and made it through our wicked cold Wisconsin winters without a hitch. We plan on buying a few more as we expand our capacity.

I am using this battery with 6 15-watt solar panels I bought from harbor freight. In the past, I used a car battery. This battery works much better. I currently use it to charge smaller batteries but in the summer, I am going to use it to run my electric mower, weed wacker, and hedge trimmer. the car battery was almost good enough but it is not designed for that kind of work, this battery will work much better.

Great bargain

Use them on my camper and they exceed the standard battery that it came with by far when it comes to cold night camping in the mountains. No more worrying if the heat will shut off due to lack of power mainly because I use two of them.

Came pretty much fully charged. Using as part of a sump pump battery backup system (Zoeller). Seems to be working well so far, nice alternative to the battery that came with the system, which required adding distilled water to the cells.

Haven’t had a chance for a real test yet but in a couple short tryouts it did what is was supposed to. I’ll post an update when we give it a real test.I’m going to use this mostly in a mobile environment. If you are planning to do the same, and if you have a bad back or trouble lifting heavy things you may want to consider something a little more light weight because this is kind of heavy.

Bought this to learn more about solar and battery power (sort of a lab). Right now I’m using a 100 watt solar panel to charge it. Powers all the LED lighting in my shed, in fact everything is run off of it including charging of all cordless batteries for power tools. Have even tested it for running a small fridge off an 700 watt inverter. Have no issues what so ever so far.. If all goes well, I will be using the same on a larger scale (4 to 5 of them) with 6 of the same panels to run our soon to be purchased motor home.

well havent been using it to long yet, but is working great so far. i use this for dc power on small items for a cabin up north which has no electricity. we refer to this as The BABYSITTER, lol. being single fulltime parent here raisng 2 boys on my own. its use is running an ac/dc tv with built in dvd player mostly. for the days up there, its use has held out for 4 days at most/ longest time so far on our last trip, thats with the boys watching alot of dvd’s while there, not to mention charging up those 3ds and game systems. i recommend this and can only hope it last 4 yrs with its minimal use in between trips like our last battery did. i use the 12 volt trickle charger on this a day before i go up there, so not over charging and charging to fast. my trickle charger will also keep it maintained without ever over charging, i just dont bother the charging thing until maybe a few days before i leave. hope this helps others out there. take care, john
