Hard to believe as much as I paid for this battery it came without the screws for hooking it up- had to run to the hardware store for the proper screws…

I just read on a website that reviewed this battery that charging with greater than 2 amps will reduce the battery’s capacity. So trickle charge only folks for best results

This battery is placed in a Newport Vessels Smart battery box. Newport states it will take a Group 24 or 27. The MightyMax 100-12 is listed at Group 30H. It fits just fine. I even used some spacers to fill the sides. The only drawback to having good long run times on a 55lb thrust motor is that it is sure heavy (64 lb) and I try to avoid relocating it very often. Charging is via solar 300 wat panel. Calculations are that solar will give me unlimited range at trolling speeds.

Took my feel free lure 11.5 out with 55lb newport kayak series trolley motor using this battery got about 4 good hours of use going with and against current in 20mph winds. Made it back with battery left. Very happy with battery, just be sure u can handle the 62lb on ur yak capacity.

Used batteries once in 6 months. But charged a few times in between. Autozone said they were completely dead. Now attempting to charge very slowly with a 3 amp maintenance charger and so far it’s working. Customer service was responsive and said to charge for 24 hours. If no luck return them for a refund.

So far so good. Runs my trolling motor. It is a little heavy to move each time I use the boat.

I originally ordered a 35ah but realized that I actually needed 100ah and the seller was able to update the order quickly… These type of batteries are expensive but Mighty Max was the best value and the battery works great. Note: The battery is heavy (63lb) but other brands weigh about the same.

They where very helpful. I bought wrong size battery and they sent me a return tag to send back battery and I purchased a different one. Extremely nice and helpful. Thank you

So far so good… Still on a full charge after 4 half days of fishing. I use my trolling motor, fish finder, and bilge all from this battery.

This battery is awesom.. Its heavy little did I know about this battery. But I used this weekend on my Newport vessel 55# thrust electric motor saltwater. Used it in total of 5 hours ranging from full blast to 1 so I can get through the wake with our canoe. I highly recommend this battery.

I’m not a battery guru. And I was hesitant to purchase this battery since I didn’t recognize the name brand. But this battery proved me wrong. It did great for my Minn Kota 55lb trolling motor during our camping/fishing trip to Pueblo Res. The high winds made us (2 adults and 2 boys in the boat) use the trolling motor more than I care to for the full day of fishing. I never experience a drop in performance.
