I use this charger on a lawn sprayer that uses an enclosed 12V sealed lead acid battery. If not maintained in a charged state, lead acid batteries will self discharge and will become useless once they discharge too far. Using a charger like this one is crucial for seldom-used batteries. I used a Workman TP-2 16 gauge polarized plug and FolioGadgets 5.5mmx2.1mm male DC power socket to connect the charger to the sprayer. Thus far it has done an excellent job. My sprayer’s battery is charged and ready to go at all times. now it will be a long time before I have to replace the battery.
