Previously bought a Viper VP600 to replace my Odyssey PC680. Worked fine for a couple years until it inevitably died. Bought this Viper VP600 which is likely a knockoff. The battery terminals didn’t fit at all due to completely different bolts. Had to remove the bolts from my Odyssey terminals and buy new ones that would fit with both. We’ll see how long this one lasts. It starts and runs a 2.0 4 cylinder car just fine btw.

One of the worse batteries I have ever bought and since it’s a battery I can send back. I wouldn’t by this battery. Spend more money and get something better. I went and spent 90 dollars on a better amg type battery and it’s the same size and does way better then this NON Mighty battery!!!!

looked into using these batteries as car battery replacement and have had this in both of my cars, e36 and crx. starts up the honda no problem but as for the bmw, it does a couple of slow cranks but starts up everytime. the key is to getting the terminals to bolt on fully. would buy again

I have bought 2 of these now. They have made an incredible difference. My truck starts easier and my voltage is staying where it should now. No dimming lights. Much better than a cap. I am istalling a total of 4 1500.1D Skar amps and planning on putting 2 per amp. I hooked up 1 amp just on these two batteries on the bench and played for 20 minutes at half gain they only lost .4 volts. Impressive for such small batteries. The amp was half gain FYI. I would say to any. Do like me a junk the cap and replace it with these. More than worth the money. Why you ask. Until I installed these. 179 for alternator and 279 for the exide agm battery I had to replace. I’ve been playing the first two amps with these two batteries for a month now with no problems and still waiting on the mechman alternator. Not sure if I even need it now. As the build continues so will these batteries. Great job viper. Expect more purchases from me.

Ordered one of these to replace a dead PC680 battery. Installed it and noticed that the bolts for the terminals are a smaller size compared to the PC680. That would be my only gripe. After installation, it started my car right up. Will update this review as I use the car and assess how the battery performs.

Replaced the 44-lb starter battery in a Mk1 Rabbit with a 2-liter (ABA) swap from a later model VW. I’ve had great luck with small Odyssey batteries in the past, and this one seems to be of comparable quality — no problems starting the engine so far, even on below-freezing days. I cut 34 lbs from the front corner of the car for less than 50 bucks (including terminals), which makes a noticeable difference in a 1700-lb car.

Overall appearance on battery that I had received was not a good one. It looked like the decal from a different battery was poorly stripped off and put on was the viper decal. You can see the sticky residue from the old decal all over where it would have been. There was a small dent on the top and also there’s a piece on the top that was flapping around. Other than appearance issues battery started my car on the first try with no hesitation.

I bought one of these to replace a dead PC680 in my weekend car and it worked so well that I bought another to put in my daily driver. Shocking how well it works for the price.
