Needed a new battery for the barbie jeep and this had the same specs as the OEM but at less than half the cost. I did have to cut the connector off the old battery and crimp solderless spade connectors onto it so it would plug right into the cars wiring. Took about 5 minutes and works perfectly. I used shrink tubing over the leads to prevent anything from touching the battery terminals should the kids manage to remove the seat and access the battery area. These are sealed, spill proof batteries and only 6 volts (can’t shock you), so they are very safe for the kids so long as you ensure nothing can short the terminals. If you’re a little bit handy, you can save a lot and keep these little toys going!

I have a Dorsey flashlight (big, yellow, bright) that I’ve had for years. The battery died and I toyed with the idea of just getting something else but I couldn’t find anything I liked as much. So new battery time and this seemed to fit what I needed in spite of claims that it did not fit the Dorsey – so I took a chance. It FITS!!! Granted you have to play around a bit, and actually unscrew the sides to get better maneuvering, but it does fit. And you do not need to bend things or reconfigure anything. To the people that said it did not fit, I’d ask if they tried putting in the old battery. I did because I’d accidently picked that one up first (I had help). IT WAS THE SAME AS THIS ONE!. I just hope this one lasts as long as the original that came with the light.
