I was running my mower for about 2 hours, way more than 1 hour at a time, so it should have had plenty of time to charge the battery between starts. But throughout June I had to jumpstart it each time. Through May it sounded like it was getting weaker and weaker. March and April it seemed fine though. I found out a local tractor store sells these cheaper because they can take your old battery back (they charge more if you do not turn in your old battery). The one I got from there was not dead on arrival, we’ll see how long it lasts. Other people said their battery came charged, so maybe I just got a dud.

I got this to replace the battery on my riding mower because I was tired of charging or jumping it every time I went to use the mower. This thing was the best and cheapest I could find for the value. I love it. Works great and starts the mower with ease every time. Much better than the batteries the auto parts places offer.

Got this as it said recommended for my mower, my old battery would start it right away, this one takes a long time, sometimes having to charge battery again before trying a third or fourth time… Was a mistake, but it was cheap, I’ve purchased a battery with more cranking amps, starts within 2 seconds now with another battery

I measured the opening on my Scag Tiger Cub mower and ordered this battery as a good fit. Unfortunately, the length of this battery was longer than the stated 7.75 inches, and I had to modify the battery box to accept the extra length. The battery was not charged, so I charged for several days before trying the crank the engine, and since it has been holding nicely. Time will tell regarding longevity…

Needed a proper replacement for my Cub Cadet XT2 garden tractor and this battery did the trick. Properly sized as a replacement. I accidentally left this battery on the tractor in my shed when we had freezing temps (low 20s) but this battery fired right up. I was afraid the battery may have frozen.

The product is fine,but the package was left by the road (not by the porch as described,a considerable distance from the porch).The package was left by the road,we live in the country. The package (a battery) was left on its side,not arrow up. Your delivery person leaves much to be desired.

Used to replace a 6 year old battery on my 8kw home generator. When it has to work, it has to work, especially when needed to power up… when its minus zero Michigan winter. I keep a 1amp float charger on all my batteries. I check/test monthly. Float charger are the best$$$ you can spend to prolong battery life. $10.

I purchased a Mighty Max brand battery (ML9-12 NB) for my home generator starter system. It replaced the same model which lasted about 3-1/2 years. My generator was in storage, and I wasn't able to keep the battery properly charged. I recently cured that issue by keeping my generator in my garage and adding a 2-pin connector to easily plug-in my battery maintainer. The battery installs with the branded side facing inward. Thus, that's why two pictures are shown. I expect this one to last well over 5 years. The other aspect about Mighty Max, they are very good about describing terminal size and style, making it easy to order the correct battery. I'll continue to use Mighty Max batteries in my other SLA battery applications.
