I have a Snap On 1700 jumper box that had the battery die. It was all corroded inside. Our Snap On rep said it would be 200 bucks to fix it. Uhm. No. I bought this instead ad fixed it myself. Lights up as fully charged and fits in the box. Came quick and well packaged. Would recommend.

I bought this to replace a bad battery in a jumper box. I have had several opportunities to use it over the past few months and it has never let me down!

These batteries were not good, I have no clue what the deal was I purchased two of them and had a bad experience. First of all one arrived a week before the other both completely dead beyond the point of discharge they should be stored at, this alone would cause the batteries to be permanently damaged upon arrival due to sulfation. The other thing I would like to urge other customers of is the fact that MIGHTY MAX is not the only company that supplies these batteries, they are merely manufactured in china or someplace shipped to the u.s and labeled and sold by mighty max battery I have seen them sold with the exact casing and construction and rating labeled and shipped from other websites. My problem is actually that I used three different AGM chargers all rated to completely charge the batteries all with no success, they would not even reach their recommended voltage for storage the most they would achieve is 13.2 volts. I even took them into auto zone as recommended by the company still with no success.Over all If you are looking for a great deal on a battery that MIGHT work this is definitely for you, after all they have pretty much the same or cheaper prices than other places online WITH free shipping included. Unfortunately I cannot recommend these as the two I received seem to be left discharged stored for years somewhere in a deep freeze . I really wanted these to work and aside from them being faulty the weight and quality was not very good, they were as light as a battery with half the capacity and arrived with damaged cases and bent terminals. I would have given this product one star for what is mentioned above but, the things I liked most about the batteries and reasons I purchased. BUT, – They are better looking than most other brands, when these arrived they looked as good as the picture. – I liked how light they were for the capacity they would be a good replacement for a portable power supply easy to carry -I have received 1 good 6 volt battery from the same company with solar charger and had no problems and love it -good customer service! and returns!The truth is it can be hard to find any AGM battery online that actually performs as specified I would recommend whatever battery you get make sure it arrives charged or send it back for one that is because of sulfation will damage this type of battery.
