B. Greenlee –
It turns out there was nothing wrong with my batteries after all. There was either an electrical surge or the unit froze or, perhaps, something else. We had a battery problem before so we thought it was the same, this time. Ours is a solar-powered unit and we had several days of inclement weather and clouds so not as much electricity may have been generated. Anyway, all of the remotes went dead and I had to reprogram them all and everything is fine now. I just though I would make this comment for the benefit of others. So, I have an extra set of batteries. At least, I won’t have to wait for them next time.
