I purchased the battery for a portable power supply for camping and other trips and travel. It easily powers each of the numerous circuits that were installed in the power supply. There are 3 separate circuits for LED lighting; and circuits for USB, and 12 volt accessory ports. Each circuit has a fuse according to the anticipated current that each will draw, based on the device being powered. The battery easily provides adequate voltage and current to power all of the circuits at the same time. But, as the title suggests, it is too early to rate the product on anything specific as I have not really had a chance to use the battery for the purpose for which it was purchased. I had intended on using it on a week-long summer camp with my scout troop, but COVID derailed that trip, and it was cancelled. Hopefully the troop will be able to travel to summer camp in 2021.

This little thing is sweet! I use it to power a 55 lb thrust trolling motor on a 200lb 12 ft Jon boat and I can fish for hours on and off the higher speeds without any signs of it slowing down. I used to use a battery from a bus prior to this one and this beats it by far. I actually can’t even turn my jon boat on the 5th speed or it will start to tip with how much power this little thing throws out. Would definitely buy again!

It’s a smaller than normal battery. I guess that’s why it was cheaper than all the others. It doesn’t have terminals it has holes where bolts would go in and It didn’t come with any bolts to attach it to anything. So now I have this brand new battery that’s completely useless to me and I’ll probably just wind up throwing it away at some point. I guess it’s my fault for not researching it more but maybe you guys could be a little bit more explicit about the fact that’s not a normal size battery. I’m curious, what would this battery would even be used for?

I bought this to power the Motorguide trolling motor I purchased for my pontoon fishing boat. I haven’t yet actually gotten it installed yet w/ circuit breaker and quick connect wiring setup so I haven’t tested the battery for its capacity. I very much like the size, weight and the fact that I can install it in the boat storage compartment in just about any position. I’ll post later when I have actual on the lake test data. If this will power my trolling motor for even a few hours, I will buy another identical second battery for additional capacity.July 2018 – Update: I ran my Motorguide troll motor for an average of about 4 hours during several like trips in Sept 2017. Mostly on low speed but at higher speeds for short time periods. Battery never got below 11 volts by the end of the day. That’s powering my Garmin fishfinder as well which displays battery voltage. I a full charge on it late Fall, put it up on my shop workbench and didn’t touch all winter. In late March it was reading 12.8 volts. Impressive little battery.I have it pre-wired with pin plugs for quick connect to fish finder and Battery Tender trickle chargerUpdate: 3/1/2019 Ran a second summer season powering 55lb thrust trolling motor. Much heavier use this go around with no problems. Pulled it out of boat in early October 2018, did full charge and put it on the shelf. Now 5 months later I put the meter on it and its 12.90 volts. Impressive little battery!
