I purchased this battery for my generator. The generator is 15 years old and it’s the only battery than I could find to fit the battery box. I could not find one locally. The battery was fully charged when I received it. Also if any battery company local had one it was twice the price. The generator started with easy after replacement.

It’s a battery, I read the specs and it met my requirements. The shipping was relatively fast but I think due in part because it was shipped from my home state, only about 30 miles from me. Just a word of advice, while this is listed as a replacement for a Troy Bilt generator and I’m pretty sure I checked and my model is supposed to be supported… it was absolutely not. The problem is with the positive and negative posts that you need to connect your red and black wires to on the generator. They are on opposite sides of the battery when compared to my original battery. Flipping it upside down didn’t work either as the posts are not centered, my cables still wouldn’t reach and installing it this way would have had the posts literally touching my gas tank. So, I needed to buy new cables. The blessing in disguise was that as I was removing the old ones, the ground cable eye lug connected literally crumbled in my hand so it was time anyway. But check out what you need before ordering as this alone made my simple 30 minute project anything but. The battery did start my generator right up once installed and it was packed securely when shipped.
