    The rating on this battery is supposedly the same as the OEM battery. The OEM battery weighs 13 pounds and this replacement weighs 10.5 pounds. Have not done any load comparisons, just an observation.

    First of all, luckily I have not had to use the new battery to jump start a car. However, what I like about it is that the price as opposed to that of having to buy a whole new unit. As well, it installed easily with no glitches by my following the instructions carefully. I took a picture of the old battery in the case before disconnecting it to be sure I connected the new battery the same way. It gives me piece of mind to have a fully charged battery available if I need it.
