I got this GEL battery for the smallest bike I own. I put about 8 to 10,000 miles on this ‘city bike’ every year for the past six years and the battery finally flattened out about a month ago. This is the first replacement battery I’ve needed and it fits perfectly and fires the bike up from below freezing to spring weather so far, I haven’t had it over a summer yet but I can’t imagine any problems with warmer weather. What I’ve done for years on all my other bikes (and I did it with this bike also) was to put it on a good charger and bring it up to optimal while it was off the bike. As arrived, the battery was at just over 13.6 volts. When I finished the charging, it reached 13.9. My attitude is you only have one chance to optimize a new battery, so I do it that way. All in all, it’s much lighter than the original and has all the power this little bike needs. ‘
