That one little thing is the positive terminal. It’s not as wide as the original as many have stated previously. Otherwise, saved an APC UPS with a dead battery I got from work from hitting the landfill. I tested it by basically unplugging it from the wall after installing this battery and everything stayed on that was plugged into it. We seldom ever lose power and if we do, it usually only lasts for a few hours (knocks on head) anyway, so there you go.

However, here’s a tip regarding installation … the positive terminal on the battery does not have the plastic, protective cover as on the original APC product. So, I put a piece of electrical tape over the positive terminal after connecting in order to help ensure that there’s no contact between the connectors.

I bought this as a replacement battery in January 2019 and it just died yesterday. Squeezing an extra 2 years and change out of my APC Back-UPS ES 750 for $20 is a good deal. It isn’t as impressive if you’re original APC battery lasted 10 years as some have said, but it’s still worth it. I needed a replacement for the original battery in my APS UPS ES 750. When I tracked down the old receipt I was surprised to find the original battery had lasted 10 years. Amazing! The MightyMax was priced right. I ordered it and it arrived fast and in perfect condition and charged up (13.2V, as I recall). As others have mentioned, the F2-F1 connector mismatch required a pair of adapters. I contacted MM customer service and got a very fast response. I requested adapters, they asked for my order number, and a few days later the adapters arrived in the mail. I hooked up the battery a few hours ago and so far, all is excellent. I’m pleased!I suggest MM sells an optional kit with battery + F1-F2 adapter pair for $1 more than a solo battery. I would have gone for that up front, not even knowing for sure I needed the adapters.One interesting thing I noticed is that the old, original APS battery weighs 6.1 and the MM battery only 4.6. I wonder why that is. Improved battery technology from a decade ago? Or less power-making material, meaning shorter working life? A note: That 10-yr old APS battery would not hold a charge over 12.2V. When charged on float mode overnight via external car charger, it’d read 12.9V when disconnected, but dropped quickly. In a minute it was down to 12.2V.Bottom line for me with this purchase: Mighty Max rocks! Highly recommended!

The physical size had to be the same, the electrical performance, etc., for a battery to be used in what is now a discontinued UPS. There were a lot of options out there that might have fit the bill. Bought battery backups for all our workstations a few years ago, but lucky us -we bought them when mfg had problems with the batteries and many died within a couple of years. We replaced them with Mighty Max batteries and it has been 5 years + for many of them and they’re still going strong! We lose power often and have daily dips in power so ours get USED. Have a few at home and use one for the router/modem, and the gamester-who-lives-in-the-basement has been blissfully….quiet.

I have this battery installed in my Uninterruptible Power Supply for a couple of months, so far no problems. The only problem I had is the posts were a bit smaller then the Original Equipment Manufacturer battery. After a couple of minutes of modifying the terminals to keep them on the installation, everything is working great. I will definitely purchase a couple for more for other Uninterruptible Power Supply’s that require new batteries. I’m not sure how long the original battery lasted I had my custom gaming PC and my monitor plugged into it and I unplugged the cord from the wall and they stayed running for a minute. At that point I plugged it back in but a minute is more than enough to shut it down. Great battery and good price. Will edit if it craps out in a year or less.

The item description says it’s a replacement for the APC Back-UPS ES 750, but the ES 750 we had had a different terminal type (F2) than this replacement (F1). I’m not sure if there are ES 750s that exist that have an F1 terminal, but ours didn’t- So this battery was not an exact replacement. We would need to get F2-to-F1 adapters or change the battery connector/terminals on our UPS (by snipping them and crimping a new connector on).However, I am still giving the product 5 stars because it DOES specify the terminal size in the description and the battery seems to be of pretty good quality.Also, though I probably shouldn’t be sharing this because everyone might expect/request it,:When I contacted the seller, Mighty Max Battery, I expressed my dissatisfaction that I assumed I would be receiving a compatible replacement for my old UPS battery- one I expected to also have an F2 terminal type. This Mighty Max battery was a perfect fit in place of the original battery that came with my APC Back UPS unit. Easy to install, slide the two color coded power connectors into place and then slide the battery back into the UPS unit and put the cover back on. Done and ready for more years of back up protection for my desktop computer. Functioning perfectly so far. I will note that the original APC battery was, I believe, 12AH, meaning that it would have a longer battery run time in the event of a long power failure than this replacement will. But in the five years or so since I got the original APC unit, I never ran the battery all the way down anyway. For me, the value of the battery back up is to allow time for a proper shutdown of the computer. And for this, the Mighty Max should work just fine.

After removing the cover plate, the internal battery cables needed to be pulled out a bit from the compartment to make them easier to remove and attach, but everything fit fine after reassembly. And, the APC Parachute PC application verified that the battery was working fine and was otherwise happy with the replacement.

this was a perfect fit for my ES 750. the wires were a bit tight and i did have to pinch the connector with some pliers to get the terminals to fit snug but it works. like i said the fit is tight and the first two times i put it in the neg wire got disconnected when i slid the battery in but with a careful effort i got it. i fire up my PC and the battery is charged and passed self test. the original APC battery lasted about 5 years and i hope to get the same use out of this one.

I have received two batteries from Mighty Max for my BE750BB, both arrived fully charged and ready for service. My impressions is that both are high quality. Though intended to fill my order neither battery received fit the physical dimensions of my BE750BB APC unit, not even close dimensionally, although electrically they had the correct voltage. The first battery was for a BE500BB unit, and the second I don’t know, but neither was a physical fit. APC made two 750 models, the BE750BB and the BE750G, and the batteries that arrived here aren’t for either of those. I have to hand it to Mighty Max for not only sending a second battery (at no charge), but also for fully refunding my money on the first battery received. While I will gladly return the two batteries, they have yet to ask for that or make it possible. APC may have helped in the confusion between these two models as to what is needed, but the point I want to get across is that in addition to receiving a quality product, you want to have post sales service, and I personally value post sales service as much as the quality product. Mighty Max is just such a company. While I didn’t end up with the battery I needed, they did send two quality batteries, fully charged each in the sincere attempt to satisfy my requirement. I’m not out of pocket and my best advice to you is in addition to making sure you order for your specific model of APC (or other brand), that you also send a note to Mighty Max following your order supplying them the H x L x W dimensions of the battery you need. In many cases because there will be clarity of make and model that wont be absolutely necessary, but it might be helpful. As I said some confusion may have started with misinformation from the APC company who not only makes the APC, but is also a re-seller of replacement batteries (at about triple Might Max’s price), and so APC is also a competitor who on some level may not see the neighborly value in helping Mighty Max market precise replacements. I withhold one star, because I didn’t get the right battery, I give four stars and a recommendation to use Might Max because they stayed the course never quitting on me, and that’s a value you can take to the bank.

I ordered my device on Sunday July 9th received it Saturday July 15th. For free non- shipping, that’s pretty fast. It came through USPS but I can’t help but notice that there were no warning for a battery being inside. I mean, the USPS makes a big deal out of cell phone batteries, this thing is massive in comparison, you’d think there’d be a warning label.Most other reviewers complained that the battery’s prong were narrower than the original battery, making the connection loose. It was not the case for my battery and I believe they have fixed this issue. I bought this brand because the original part cost twice as much and wanted to save some money while hopefully retaining some quality. This UPS is the exact same size and fits perfectly in an APS ES 750 UPS and after plugging it in for a while, was able to sustain my PC, two monitors and a network switch once I plugged them in and before switching out my regular power strip back to the UPS. I didn’t have the communication cable so I was not able to turn off the loud beep the UPS gave out once the previous battery died.I hope this battery lasts, otherwise, I’ll have wasted more money than if I just bought the original part. I’ll keep this review updated.UPDATE: It’s been about 3 years since I bought the first set of batteries (I have 3 of these) and the one I use on my desktop has died today 10/25/20. Avergage lifespan of a UPS battery is 3-5 years so I’d say it’s pretty good. I still have two other same batteries in identical UPSes and they’re still kicking. One of them is my wife’s desktop which is mirrored to mine. She doesn’t use her desktop as often as mine so that could be another reason mine died first. I’m just going to buy another one and keep going. Thank you Mighty Max!

Yes, the battery terminal tabs are the smaller kind, so my APC big female connectors were over sized. I didn;t want to crush the exisiting connectors with pliers, so I adapted a very short wire adapter, and it seems to work fine. I have not tested capacity, but the APC reports good capacity.
