I currently have 3, APC Back-UPS BE750G, backup units for 2 computers and a Multi-Media system. After several years of use they require replacements batteries. I replaced the battery in my oldest unit 3 years ago with this same Might Max battery and bought this latest battery to replace it. My other 2 identical units are on year 2 of this same battery replacement and will be replaced in another year. So far no problems with any of the replacements. The battery terminals are a little thinner than the APC originals and the battery lighter, but it’s an exact fit in the unit and the terminals connect same as the OEM. Overall a good replacement for the price.

First battery arrived damage in the mail. 2nd(Replacement) battery arrived in excellent condition. Only issue with the battery is the width of the terminal lugs (Both + and -). The terminal lugs on the new battery are approximately 1/2 the size of the lugs on the old APC battery. They work. Just have to be careful hooking them up and not disconnecting while installiing the new battery.

This is the perfect replacement battery for my APC Backup Power. The battery is inexpensive and lasts for years if properly charged and used as directed. I only use the backup power for my computer. All other accessories are plugged into the surge protection outlets on my APC to prolong the battery life.

First- the terminals on the battery did not match the plugs on my APC UPS. The battery was specified as a direct replacement for the one that was in the UPS. I contacted the seller and they sent some adapters. I appreciate the adapters but they should just include them with the battery if they are going to market as working with my APC unit. The battery size and capacity does match the original battery. The new battery is working fine. I cannot evaluate the battery life as it has only been installed a couple of months and it should last for years.

I got an battery which seemed to work, but only delivered roughly 15% of the advertised 8 Ah when I ran tests on it. I found it 2.5 months after my order, which was outside the 30-day return window. Mighty Battery offered to replace it with a fully tested battery, so I am waiting for the replacement now.My load was 12-13 watt, and the battery only lasted for 1 hr 10 min. For a 12V battery, this is 1.1Amp * 1.2hrs = ~1.3 Ah. I know this was through a 110v transformer of a UPS, which maybe has 20-25% loss, but this still does not explain a factor of 6 of actual capacity vs. advertised capacity.For comparison, a 4.5Ah battery from a new APC UPS has lasted me 1.5 hrs on a 16 watt load, which is roughly 50% more actual capacity in a battery that is advertised as 4.5 Ah! (and the one being reviewed here is 8Ah).At any rate, will see how the replacement performs.

Update: a month or 2 later, the replacement lost its charge as well. I decided to try APC (same brand as my UPS) – guess what, same thing happened. After emailing with APC we think my UPS is draining the batteries. I checked and it’s 9 years old, so I’ll replace it – and when I need a new battery I’ll go with Mighty Max again (the ones at work are still going strong).Initial review: Installed as a replacement battery in an APC Back-UPS ES 750. Worked for a couple of weeks then seemed to lose its charge. Mighty Max was very responsive via email and quickly sent me a replacement which has been running fine for 3 months now. The price is good and I’m confident enough in their customer service that I just ordered another set of batteries for my work UPS.

The battery arrived in a timely manner via USPS. The date code on the battery indicated that it was manufactured only a couple months ago, so it should have good remaining life. (This is good compared to previously purchased batteries from other vendors that were over 1 year old and did not last very long; SLA batteries have a limited useful life.)-The only negative is that it has 3/16 (0.1875) terminals which, while they fit the standard 1/4 (0.250) connectors used on my UPS, is truly not ideal.-Note: These folks offer a 12V 9Ah BATTERY APC BACK-UPS XS1500 RBC109 PS-1290 – 2 Pack – Mighty Max Battery brand product which I found to have standard 1/4 terminals. These batteries, each one being the exact same size as this battery, are cost effective assuming that there is a use for the other battery, not to mention being 9 Amp-Hours versus 8 Amp-Hours.- I would recommend to Mighty Max that they market their 9AH, 2-Pack offering as a single battery as it will fit in most APC UPS devices using this battery form factor. Also, Mighty Max is good as they accurately list the battery dimensions, however they should also list the terminal dimensions.
