I use these for replacement batteries for my kids’s water scooter…$20 vs. $120. for the Dolphin branded same exact battery…just cut the leads off the old and crimp on lead connectors…literally can be done in less than a minute.

Perfect fit. Just have to add original battery connectors! Easy and cheap!!

When you don’t feel like paying three times as much for a battery with attached power cables this can work really well. I took the cables off the old battery using a soldering iron to avoid cutting the connectors off, although this probably would have worked, as I wanted to keep the cable as long as possible. Couple of bucks spent on new connectors from Lowe’s and a few minutes connecting the cable to the new battery and I was in business. I used some liquid rubber to coat the connector for waterproofing but heat shrink might have worked too. Not sure if this was really necessary but as I had some lying around I didn’t think it would hurt. Battery was already charged but I just topped it up. Sea Doo worked fine and battery seems indistinguishable from the original.
