It came before it was expected, it fit the hole it was supposed to fit in, the wire leads were on the correct sides and plug in as expected, it was a no brainer. Only time will tell if it lasts as anticipated – the reason for being short starred – if still working in 5 years I’ll come back and update this page – Not! 🙂

Came in from NY right on time. Fits perfectly for a Chamberlain replacement. Last Chamberlain only lasted 2 yrs while they claim 3-5 yrs. Hope this one lasts longer.

Never sure if I am supposed to review product or seller, stars could be different for both. I purchased this battery as a recommendation from Chamberlain. I guess it works as the beeping sound every 60 seconds has stopped, guess is the word. The terminals on the battery are not the same size as the original battery from chamberlain. So the coupling that attaches to the battery terminal fits a large terminal while the actual terminal is a small fitting. So in actuality it like putting big pants on a small person, its loose.This is what I was afraid of and I expressed this to Chamberlain. They assured me the terminals would be the same.It would have cost around $50 with shipping from Chamberlain and around $34 from batteries plus. This battery cost me around $15 with free shipping.As far as the provider/seller did. It was purchased and shipped in a timely manner and I received and installed without any problems. They did a great job. Except the images show terminals being of same size or they seem like it. The description says Terminal: F1(whatever that means)TIP: You need to crimp the terminal that is large to ensure not loose.

The battery fit into the defined space just fine. The metal connector tabs were a bit bigger than the OEM battery but the push connector was still able to slide on.

Good battery – but you MUST also purchase cables to attach battery to Chamberlain board. Original Chamberlain battery leads are not removable.

So far, so good for this replacement battery! I have only had it a few weeks but it was easy to install and came up to full charge within 24 hours according to my Craftsman garage door opener lcd message screen. I did pull the plug on the opener, pressed the remote and the door went up and down fine (I only tried one complete cycle, which I thought reasonable) under battery power. Plugged the opener back in, saw the power restored, battery charging message scrolling on my message screen again and 24 hours all is quiet and normal again. For half the price of the brand name replacement I am pleased so far! Our original Die Hard battery that came with our opener only lasted 3 years by the way, so that will be my benchmark standard for this one. Update: July 10, 2107 Beeping from opener has returned and message on screen says to replace battery. We very rarely have power failures, and I have never had to run the opener with just battery power since my aforementioned original test when it first came up to charge. So, this battery lasted only about 2.5 years before failing. Is it worth it? It did last nearly as long as the original, and costs roughly half what that OEM battery would run….so I’d say begrudgingly I suppose. Why oh why can’t these things last longer?!
