Great replacement for my long-lived Coleman Quick Pump. Well packaged and quickly received. One thing I would like to see is some care guidelines to tell people to charge fully every 3-4 months. We lost our last battery after only a year or two due to infrequent use and charging, and only after I read about it did I find out this type of battery can’t be recharged at all once it sits with zero charge for too long. So put it on your calendar to charge every 3 months whether you use it or not!

I had gotten a Coleman Quick Pump battery air pump for Christmas at some point. It got put in my camping equipment and never used, as I hadn’t gone camping for several years. When I finally went camping last year, I got the pump out and it was dead. Wouldn’t work, wouldn’t charge. You can’t even hook it up to the power cord and operate it that way. Rather than throw it out I decided to try and replace the battery. This fit perfectly. It was easy to install. Charged it and it works perfectly. I’ve done some research and these types of batteries need charged every few months or they will lose their ability to hold a charge. So be sure to charge it every 4-5 months even if you don’t plan on using it.

Like the headline says, it’s a near perfect fit for the weak so called’ factory installed battery Coleman puts in their rechargeable pump. The prongs are a bit off the cut outs in the plastic so all I did was use a piler to break off the needed space in the plastic.

Had 2 coleman air bed pumps – one died after 10 years so we bought another…which died less than a year in and after very few uses; battery just stopped accepting a charge. Rather than buying another, I found these batteries and saw some positive reviews so I took a chance. Worked immediately. Time will tell if they are really *better* and longer lasting than the one I replaced. Will update review if necessary. Simple to use and easy to install.
