Lead Acid batteries die. Goal Zero batteries a pricey but convenient. This is an affordable compromise. Very easy install. took only a few minutes and Goal Zero is good as new.

The shipping packaging was more than adequate. My original battery was “dead and swollen” and I had to pry it out of the Yeti power station. Once that task was completed, installing the new battery was a snap. Connections were easily accessible. After charging overnight the gauge indicated a “full charge.” Local auto battery shop took the old battery – no questions asked.

Slow shipping, received a week late. The positive port was pressed down, took a butterknife to slip underneath and gently pull up, not sure if that will compromise it long-term. Charged quickly, and does what its intended to. I will update this down the road if it doesn’t last a sufficient amount of time. Bought it as a replacement for the Goal Zero Yeti 150, fits perfect.
